Biofuels Digest Index jumps 3.30 percent to 66.66 on broad market rally
Markets were closed Friday in observance of Christmas. On Thursday, the Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 3.30 percent to 66.66 on a broad market rally. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 3.34 percent to $31.57, while BP jumped 3.67 percent to $58.24. Among smaller caps, Verenium (VRNM) rose 4.75 percent to $4.19. Overall, advances led declines by 2 to 1 for the day.
